Finding True Self

finding true self is quite an effort but it is the starting point that one can comprehend God. knowing what i am and who made me will lead to know God, the Creator.
he says "come walking closer to me and i'll come running at you". thusly he be ceaselessly guiding to understand why i am here and what i am supposed to do in this lifetime and by then i'll be able to live my life properly.

contemplations, good deeds as well as ibada and stuffs are the means to get closer to Him. though these will not be useful if the heart and mind are dominated by arrogance, envy, hatred, lust etc.
